* Measurement principle of U-550 :

 

The Ultrasonic Belt Tension Meter (U-550) is a convenient device that allows accurate tension measurement by analyzing sound waves without touching.

A sensor captures the eruption of sound waves generated by selecting the belt gap. Then, the high-processing computer analyzes and displays the results on the screen in digital form.

The U-550 Tension Meter was created to solve this phenomenon.

Previously, there was no easy-to-deploy device that could capture these small waves. We succeeded in capturing the period of the wave pattern relatively easily by developing a data processing method to capture the vibration frequency that makes full use of the microcomputer. For the system, the sensor detects the vibration waveform, and the microcomputer calculates the characteristic vibration number by processing the data. To calculate the belt tension, we use the "cross-thread oscillation" to set the tension to the right.
