The Teclock GS-720N / GS-720G is a mechanical dial type precision durometer that is manufactured in Japan to the highest of standards. With a wide 40mm x 16mm footprint for extra stability the GS-720G can be mounted to a test stand and fixed with a generic m6 thread cap. The purpose of using durometers is to test the hardness of materials such as resins and plastics. These can be used to ensure consistency in product and fit for purpose as part of diligent quality control procedures. The Shore D scale is used to test hard rubber, plastics,perspex and some composite materials.
