The Mantis family consists of three models, PIXO, ERGO and IOTA, giving you the ability to choose the right option for your requirement. Whether you need a full featured inspection system supporting video and image capture, annotation, display of custom overlays; a multi-view optical only system with magnification up to 15x, or a simple compact system with up to 8x magnification, Mantis is the right system for you

Dynamic 3D illumination

Control and enhance 3D illumination for even greater understanding of 3D subjects. Two banks of LEDs can be set for synchronised or independent control to give you the option to add shadow detail, enhancing your 3D understanding of the subject. Additionally it helps prevent unwanted reflections, which can hide subject detail.

Improved hand-eye coordination and lower operator fatigue makes tasks such as soldering, PCB inspection and rework easy, especially for extended periods.

Combined White / UV illumination Change from white to UV light at the push of a button for inspection of coatings and fluorescing agents. Speed up inspection of coated parts by viewing the coating, and then through the coating as you quickly change from one light to the other.

PIXO: is the best choice if you need to document your work, share images/video, add annotations/overlays, or use UV lighting.
ERGO: is designed for users who need the full range of magnification (up to 15x) and advanced lighting options of the PIXO , but require only an optical view without digital capabilities.
IOTA : is the most compact and simple option, ideal for basic inspection and manipulation tasks where only up to 8x magnification is needed and a single lens is sufficient.

Mantis PIXO (Digital & Optical Hybrid)

Primary Use: High-end inspection requiring digital documentation and collaboration.
Key Tasks:
- Capturing and sharing high-definition images/video for traceability.
- Using digital overlays to compare live subjects against measurement targets or guides.
- Adding annotations (text, shapes, arrows) to images for training and reporting.
- Switching between white and UV light to inspect fluorescing coatings or dyes.
