The TP-200E viscometer is a cone plate viscometer with an integrated temperature control system.

Temperature control (Peltier element operating principle)

When a direct current is passed through the Peltier element used to control the temperature of the TP-200E, heat is transferred from one side to the other, causing one side to generate heat and increase in temperature, while the other side absorbs heat and decreases in temperature. By switching the direction and strength of the electric current, it is possible to control both heating and cooling temperatures . It features quick response temperature control. Peltier elements are characterized by their fast temperature control response, so by using the temperature program in the included viscosity data import software .

Open type plate

The plate on which the sample is placed is an open type, making it easier to clean.

Auto gap function

In conventional viscometers, the gap between the rotor and the plate is adjusted by an analog method, so differences in the operator performing the adjustment are one of the causes of error. The TP-200E has an "Auto Gap" function that automatically adjusts the gap , so measurements can be performed under the same conditions regardless of who is operating it.

It is divided into two models: Low viscosity (L type) is "M" , "2.5M" , "5M" High viscosity (H type) is "H" , "R" , "U" It covers three ranges, and has a measurement range equivalent to three conventional viscometers .
