The Hakko FG450-01 is a portable static level meter used to measure electric potential for films, plastics, and other objects. It is a key tool in electrostatic discharge (ESD) management. • Portable static level meter for the measurement of electric potential for films and plastic objects. •  Useful for the check of electric potential measurement in production lines. •  Also suitable for the operation test of static eliminators and static potential check for computers.

• Manufacturing/Production Lines: It is useful for checking the electric potential in production lines to ensure sensitive components or materials are not exposed to damaging levels of static electricity.
• Static Eliminator Operation Check: The device can be used to test the operation and effectiveness of static eliminators (ionizers) using the included ion balance plate.
• Computer/Electronics Environments: It is suitable for checking the static potential around computers and other electronic equipment to prevent static discharge damage.
• Material Testing: It measures the electric potential of films, plastic objects, and other materials to determine their static charge levels.
• Human Body Static Check (with optional plate): With an optional human body static measuring plate, the device can measure the electrostatic potential of a person, which helps ensure personnel are properly grounded in an ESD-protected area.

• Portability: It is a handheld, battery-powered device, allowing it to be easily used anywhere.
• Rotating Sensor Head: The sensor head rotates 180 degrees in 45-degree increments, allowing the user to read the measurement value easily at any angle.
• Measurement Modes: It offers two modes for measurement: one for the momentary and peak value of the static electric potential of an object, and another for measuring the ion balance of ionization equipment.
• Zero-Point Adjustment: It features an easy, one-touch button for zero-point adjustment.
• Measurement Distance Indicator: A red LED beam is used to help adjust and maintain the correct measurement distance (30mm) between the object and the sensor for accurate readings.
