The Togoshi 3:10-5H1Y is manufactured by TAKANO KEIKI CO., LTD. Made in Japan. This counter measures and displays the length of fabrics, paper, belts, vinyl, etc. The pulley is placed in contact with the product to be measured, and one count is recorded for every three rotations of the pulley. The Togoshi 3:10-5H1Y is a mechanical length-counting meter used in industries to measure the length of materials that come in long rolls or continuous sheets. It helps factory workers and manufacturers keep track of exactly how much material passes through a production line.

How It Works

• Wheel Contact: You place the attached wheels directly against the moving material. 
• The "3:10" Ratio: The ratio "3:10" means that for every 3 full rotations of the wheels, the internal gears register and display 10 units of length. 
• Yard Measurement (The "Y" in the Code): The letter Y at the end of the model name signifies that this specific unit measures in the Yard system (as opposed to the "M" model which measures in meters). Its total measurement range spans from 0 to 9,999.90 yards. 
• Reset Button: It features a manual knob or lever to instantly reset the number counter back to zero when a new roll or batch is started.

• Gear Ratio: 3:10 (The internal spindle requires 3 complete rotations to register 10 units on the display).
• Smallest Unit Displayed: 0.1 Yard (10 inches / 1 decimal point resolution).
• Number of Digits : 5 digits.
• Reset Mechanism: Manual knob reset (push-type or twist-knob to instantly return all digits to 0)
