• Ride Quality Assessment: The main purpose is to evaluate elevator ride comfort levels according to international standards, specifically the elevator diagnostic standards specified by ISO 18738-1. This ensures the elevator provides a smooth and pleasant experience for passengers.
• Predictive Maintenance (PdM): By monitoring the vibration data over time, maintenance teams can identify early warning signs of wear, misalignment, imbalance, and other mechanical defects in the elevator system's components (e.g., motors, ropes, bearings). This allows for scheduled repairs before a major failure occurs, reducing downtime.
• Troubleshooting and Diagnosis: The device captures real-time vibration waveforms which are saved to a USB stick for detailed computer analysis using the included software. This data helps engineers pinpoint the source of abnormal noises or jerky movements.
• Compliance and Certification: The system can issue calibration certificates that comply with ISO requirements, which is important for regulatory compliance and safety audits.

• Ease of Use: The device is designed for simplicity; it is simply placed inside the elevator car to take measurements.
• Real-time Monitoring: A built-in 3.5-inch color LCD screen displays measured waveforms in real-time, allowing the operator to confirm measurement accuracy during the process.
• Detailed Analysis: The collected data is transferred via USB to a PC for in-depth analysis using the dedicated, user-friendly software.
• High Resolution: It has a high resolution of 0.005 m/s² (0.5 gal), allowing it to detect even minor vibrations.
