SK-810PT is a precise thermometer of 0.01°C resolution with a range of –100 to 360°C, to alternate mercury-filled standard glass thermometers so far used. Purchase a probe sold separately to meet your purpose.

Feature Due to the Minamata Convention on Mercury, demands for mercury-free products have been widely enlarged recently. SK-810PT is a professional digital thermometer to replace the conventional standard mercury thermometers to meet such needs. Not only it is portable and offers simple operation, but also it enables highly accurate measurement with a high resolution of 0.01°C valid in the whole measuring range of −100 to 360°C, and a highest accuracy of ±0.16°C achieved by precise sensors of platinum thermistor. ■ Various probes We offer seven different probes of 4-wire platinum thermistor Pt100 to meet various applications as follows. All probes and main units are interchangeably connected. Purchase one probe at least to use SK-810PT. ● Low/medium/high temperature probe (6 kinds depend on the shape of a grip) These probes memorize its response tendency of 4-wire Pt100 inside it to let the main unit compensate the calculation so that they have total accuracy (summary of errors by a probe and a main unit) of ±0.16°C in the whole measuring range of each probe. It is recommended to use appropriate probes depends on object temperature as it may shorten the life of sensors or damage stability to use the same probe in an excessively large temperature change.

The optional probes can fully show the performance of the SK-810PT digital thermometer. In order to stably use for a long period, the probes are specified for low, medium, and high temperature ranges. The general purpose type covered -100 to 200°C is also provided.

The sensing element is a platinum resistance temperature detector (Pt100, 4-wire) that ensures a maximum accuracy of ±0.16°C in each range by memorizing the characteristics of the individual element in the sensing part and having correction in the internal circuit of the main unit.
