The RLP40 QE probe kit includes batteries and tool kit. The small-bodied RLP40 QE is designed to be turret mounted for part setting and inspection on turning centres. Ultra-compact and specifically designed to be additionally robust with a toughened glass window for the harsh environment in lathes and grinding machines. The RLP40 QE is compatible with RMI-QE and RMI-Q interfaces. It is not compatible with the RMI interface. Probe switch-on / switch-off methods are user configurable. The factory-default setting of radio on / radio off can be modified to radio on / timer off (timeout), spin on / spin off, or spin on / timer off (timeout) if required.

RLP40 (QE) Dimensions

The RLP40 probe can be in one of three modes: Standby Mode – Probe is waiting for a switch-on signal. NOTE: The RLP40 will enter “hibernation mode” should the system interface be powered off or out of range for a period of 30 seconds (“hibernation mode” is only applicable to “radio on mode” when used with an RMI-Q). Operational Mode – When activated by one of the switch-on methods, the probe is switched on and ready for use.
