The Nikon MFC-200 is a compact, head-mounted digital counter designed for use with the DIGIMICRO series of digital length measuring systems. Its primary function is to indicate travel distance on a digital display when connected to a measurement head

• Measurement Display: It receives and processes signals from a measuring head to display high-precision data for thickness, depth, and height.
• Precision Industrial Metrology: It is used in quality inspection for small electronic components, precision equipment, and industrial materials where extreme accuracy is required.
• Head-Mounted Design: Unlike external counters, the MFC-200 is designed to be mounted directly onto the measurement head for a more compact setup.

NIKON MF-501: A head with a 50mm measurement range NIKON MFC-200 counter and Data Processing: It features resolution switching, direction switching (for different measurement orientations), and unit switching. Computer Connectivity: Newer versions of the MFC-200 are designed for improved compatibility with PCs for data collection and analysis.  Pic.: NIKON MFC-200 Counter  at Semiki's warehouse Optional cables Physical Connection: Plug the 6-pin or dedicated Hirose-style connector (found on the Nikon cable) into the rear of the MFC-200 and the DB9 end into your PC's serial port or USB adapter. Software Configuration: Use a terminal emulator (like PuTTY or Tera Term) or dedicated metrology software to capture the data stream. Set your COM port parameters to match the device (typically 9600 baud, 8 data bits, 1 stop bit, and no parity is a common starting point for such counters). Testing: Once connected, a measurement "Print" or "Data Out" command on the counter should send the current reading to your PC screen.
