Four of the input channels incorporate integrated electronic piezoelectric (IEPE) signal conditioning for accelerometers and microphones and built-in antialiasing filters that automatically adjust to your sampling rate. The fifth input channel does not include IEPE support. Part Number: 780421-01 National Instruments USB-4432 Sound and Vibration Device The USB-4432 (Part Number: 780421-01) is a Sound and Vibration Device from National Instruments. This model has five differential analog input channels and does not have any analog output channels. The input channels offer 24-bit measurements. This impressive Signal Acquisition Module is used for making measurements from IEPE sensors.  The USB-4432 buffers and pre-filters each signal. This process is executed by a 24-bit delta-sigma ADC (analog-to-digital converter). This device can read and write TEDS Class 1 sensor. The National Instruments NI USB-4432 device also features a dynamic range of 100 dB. The device’s voltage range is -40V and +40V. The device also has ±60V overvoltage protection. The USB-4432 includes three modes of measurement operations which are software-selectable. Two modes with AC-coupling are IEPE-on mode and IEPE-off mode. The third mode is the IEPE-off mode with DC coupling. The NI USB-4432 uses delta-sigma modulation. This is a method of converting signals from analog form to digital form. This method rejects the out-of-band signals and only provides the most accurate and desirable signals. The NI DAQ USB 4432 has a built-in antialiasing filter, which can easily differentiate between different types of signals. This Sound and Vibration Device is ideal for noise analysis applications, along with vibration analysis applications. This device includes many helpful features like distortion analysis and noise measurements. Another useful feature is sound quality analysis. The NI USB-4432 provides one BNC input connector per channel.
