The CR-410C coffee colorimeter measures the color of coffee easily and accurately. It can perform these measurements on a wide variety of coffee: whole green beans, roasted beans, and roasted coffee.

The colorimeter is used to measure coffee bean color so that you don’t have to use a bulky and expensive instrument. It also is more accurate than trying to assess coffee bean color visually. The CR-410C is an affordable and portable option. The CR-410C uses the SCAA specialty coffee index to calculate the color, roasted level (light, medium, medium-dark, dark), the difference from a standard, and pass/fail information. Additionally, it includes our Food Color Indexing Technology (FCIT).

The CR-410C is capable of measuring whole bean, lyophilized, powder and instant coffee forms. This user-friendly instrument also boasts a much lower cost for maintenance than its competitors.

 

The large aperture CR-410 with specially modified firmware and purpose designed sample holder is used to provide colour measurements of coffee at all stages of the production process using industry standard measurements.

 

FEATURES

 

• Ø 50mm measuring aperture: averages a large area for repeatable results.

• Built- in backlit LCD display: colour measurement, colour difference and tolerance data are plainly displayed and visible even in dark conditions.

• Custom jig and measuring cups: purpose designed instrument holder guides one or 3 samples into position under the aperture to ensure repeatable measurements and best practice sample presentation.

• Battery or AC Power: The CR-410C can be powered either by AAA batteries or AC power in order to minimise downtime.

• Enhanced reporting and storage via PC: connect the system to optional SpectraMagic NX software to present data in standard or user generated templates.
