 IDS/ID/IDX Series

 

 

IDS/ID-Series Joint Detector/Wire-Breaking Detector

IDS Series are most recommended as a Joint detector, but ID Series (Low cost type) are also available for several applications.

IDS/ID Series are also available for detection of wire-breaking. CDD-15 is availble for detection of extra fine wire-breaking.

 

 

Cable core wire joints are different from normal materials and shapes due to brazing, pressure welding, iron wire contamination, etc.

A joint detector is a device designed to prevent contamination of products by detecting eddy current loss that occurs at joints.

Depending on the model, disconnections, seams inside the shielded wire, and seams made by pressure welding or welding with no change in outer diameter can also be detected.

 

 

 

Features

• Contactless, high-speed, continuous detection is possible just by passing it through the sensor.

• The detection level setting is highly visible with a bar graph display.

• It supports a wide range of workpieces, from extra-fine wires to extra-thick wires.

• There is no need to worry about wear with the ceramic guide.

• It can also be used as a metal passing sensor, and can be counted by connecting a counter.

 

 

ID/IDS/IDX series

 

The sensor head of the IDS series consists of 3 coils and the IDX series consists of 2 coils.

The joint is detected by analyzing and comparing the balance of the impedance of both coils, which collapses due to changes in magnetic resistance caused by eddy current loss when the joint passes through.

Compared to the ID series, the IDS/IDX series has specifications that are more resistant to line runout during measurement.
