The Kyowa TPS-A Series is a line of non-contact rotary torque transducers equipped with a built-in amplifier. It is primarily used to measure, monitor, and test torque (rotational force) and rotation speed on rotating shafts and drive systems. Features

• Non-Contact Signal Transmission: Instead of using traditional slip rings, the TPS-A series transfers signals electromagnetically or optically. This eliminates mechanical wear, cuts down maintenance, and allows stable operation at high speeds (up to 15,000 rpm).
• Built-In Amplifier: Outputs a direct voltage signal of ±5 V. This eliminates the need for an external strain amplifier, reducing system cost and minimizing signal noise over long distances. 
• Rotation/Speed Output: Features an integrated rotation sensor that outputs 4 pulses per revolution, allowing you to calculate rotational speed simultaneously with torque.
• Key-Groove-Free Shaft: The shaft end is flat and smooth (no keyway). This design is optimized for friction-joint couplings, which completely eliminates backlash and ensures precise measurements. 
• Wide Capacity Range: Available in multiple models to cover nominal capacities from a low ±0.1 N·m up to ±5 kN·m.

Specification: A compact and lightweight non-contact transmission type torque sensor (transducer) with a built-in amplifier. Non-contact transmission reduces the amount of maintenance work. TPS-A-01NM to TPS-A- 2NM models have slim housings (30 mm wide) and can be installed side-by-side. Rated Capacity: ±0.1 N･m to ±5 kN･m Rated Output: ± (5+0.2) V Max. Rotation Speed: 3000 rpm (±5 kN･m) to 15000 rpm (± 0.1 N・m to ±2 N・m)
