Color QC App: The software's main function, "Color QC App" can display various screens such as pass/fail judgement, color analysis, and process management by connecting spectrophotometers or colorimeters to the computer and measuring sample data.

The Konica Minolta SpectraMagic NX2 PRO version includes advanced functionalities not found in the Lite/Basic version, tailored for complex industrial environments: 

• QC Templates: Administrators can create locked templates that include specific instrument settings (like aperture size or measurement mode) to prevent operator errors across multiple sites.
• User-Defined Information: Allows the creation of custom data fields (e.g., batch number, production line, or operator name) for more detailed data classification and traceability.
• Advanced Customization: Includes a Canvas Editor for designing multi-page reporting layouts and a User Equation Editor for industry-specific calculations.
• Fleet Management: Simplifies the global configuration of multiple instruments and includes an "Instrument Check" function to monitor device health and repeatability.
• Automated Processes: Supports the setup of macros to automate routine measurement workflows, improving efficiency and reducing human error.

Functional Specifications (Pro vs. Lite):

The Pro version includes several advanced measurement and analysis capabilities not found in the Lite version: 

• Illuminants: Supports a wider range including D55, D75, F6-F8, F10, F12, U50, ID50, ID65, various LED sources, and up to 100 user-defined illuminants.
• Color Systems: Includes XYZ, Yxy, u'v', and uv color spaces and their differences.
• Advanced Indices: Features specialized indices like Whiteness (WI), Yellowness (YI), Brightness, Density, and Grey Scale Rating (ISO 105.A05).
• Customization: Exclusive access to the Canvas Editor for designing reporting layouts and a User Equation Editor.
• Automation: Includes Macro functions and QC Template creation to lock measurement conditions across factories. 

Supported File Formats

• Input: Reads native NX2 (.mesx2, .mtpx2) and older NX (.mtp, .mes, .mea) files.
• Output: Supports CSV for data export and .cxf files.
• Languages: Supports 12 languages, including English, Japanese, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Chinese (Simplified/Traditional), Turkish, Russian, Polish, and Korean.
