The Keyence SK-H050 Handheld Electrostatic Tester with the SK-H055 Ionizer Monitoring Unit forms a complete diagnostic system to test, audit, and log static electricity levels and ionizer performance. While the SK-H050 works alone to read surface static charges, plugging it into the SK-H055 attachment transforms it into a full-scale charge plate monitor.  

• Static Charge Measurement: The Keyence SK-H050 Main Unit alone reads surface voltage, using a dual-laser pointer system to guarantee the operator holds it at the correct measuring distance. 
• Ionizer Decay Speed Test: When coupled with the SK-H055 plate, the unit applies a ±1400 V charge. It then tracks how many seconds your ionizer takes to eliminate that charge down to a safe threshold. 
• Ion Balance Verification: The system evaluates if an ionizer is emitting positive and negative ions equally. This ensures the ionizer does not accidentally apply a net charge to sensitive electronic components. 
• Data Logging: The system saves up to 100 data points internally. You can export these points to a PC as a csv file via USB for compliance reporting.

• Proper Grounding: You must ground the system with the included grounding wire (resistance under 100 Ω). Ungrounded operation results in false or wildly drifting voltage readings. 
• Sensor Protection: The sensor head rotates 180 degrees to fit into tighter machine frames. This design also isolates the inner circuitry if the unit is accidentally dropped.
