The HIOS IMJ Series Joint Shafts (Intermediary Joint Shafts) are specialized adapters used to convert the drive system of HIOS electric screwdrivers.

• Conversion to Standard Hex: They convert the proprietary HIOS H4 (4mm) or H5 (5mm) wing-shank drives into a standard 1/4" (6.35mm) Hex drive.
• Bidirectional Use: These shafts are often reversible, meaning they can also convert a standard 1/4" Hex drive tool to accept HIOS-style bits.

• IMJ-4X : Converts HIOS H4 (4mm) to 1/4" Hex.
• IMJ-5X : Converts HIOS H5 (5mm) to 1/4" Hex.

• Bit Standardization: They enable assembly lines to use standard, widely available 1/4" hex bits even if the screwdrivers utilize the proprietary HIOS shank system.
• Tool Flexibility: Instead of purchasing entirely new screwdrivers for different bit types, users can simply swap the joint shaft to fit the required application.
• Compatibility: These are essential for operators who need to use specialized bits (like Torx or custom security bits) that may only be available in a 1/4" hex format.
