The HAKKO 374-3 ( Soldering Iron/Solder Feed System 374 series) is a configurations-specific variant of the HAKKO 374 Automatic Solder Feed System optimized for feeding 1.0 mm (0.04 in) diameter solder wire.

• V-Groove Cutting Function: The system cuts a V-shaped groove into the solder wire surface before feeding. This allows trapped gas pressure from internal flux cores to escape cleanly during heating, dramatically suppressing solder and flux splash. 
• Dual Operating Modes:
  • • AUTO MODE: Delivers a precise, uniform amount of solder based on pre-configured feed time and feed speed control knobs, regardless of how long the trigger is pressed.
    • MANUAL MODE: Continuously feeds solder at your designated speed for as long as you hold down the feed switch or optional foot pedal. 
• Solder Return Mechanism: Fully adjustable drawback control (0 to 5 mm) retracts the solder wire slightly at the end of a cycle. This limits unwanted thermal exposure from the hot iron tip onto the resting wire tip, avoiding premature flux boiling or tip clogging. 
• Flexible Execution: Can be paired with HAKKO Tube Units for integrated one-handed operation on the iron, or utilized with a standalone feeder pen for specialized two-handed operations.
