The Hakko FX8301-01 is a high-power (150W, 27V) replacement soldering iron handpiece designed specifically for use with the Hakko FX-838 soldering station. It is not a standalone product and requires the associated station to function.

• Heavy-duty applications: It is ideal for soldering large components, such as on power-supply boards, heat sinks, and shield cases, where significant heat is needed to form a proper solder joint.
• Multilayer boards: The high power allows for effective soldering on multilayer printed circuit boards, which often dissipate heat quickly, ensuring reliable connections even on inner layers.
• Lead-free soldering: Its high maximum temperature (up to 500°C) and great thermal recovery are beneficial for lead-free soldering, which generally has a higher melting point than traditional tin-lead solder.
• Micro soldering: Despite its high power, its excellent thermal performance allows for precise temperature control, making it applicable for soldering fine and micro components.

• High Power and Thermal Recovery: The 150W ceramic heating element provides rapid heat-up and stable temperature control, allowing soldering at lower set temperatures and shortening the overall working time. This minimizes the risk of thermal damage to sensitive electronic components.
• Safety: The handpiece operates at a low voltage (27V), which is a safety design feature below the general safety standard of 30V.
• Integrated Heater/Tip Design: It uses T20 series tips, which integrate the heating element and tip into a single cartridge, ensuring maximum heat transfer efficiency and easy replacement.
• Compatibility: It is designed to work seamlessly with the Hakko FX-838 soldering station, which provides the necessary power and temperature control.
