The Hakko 155 series tools are manual radial lead cutters used to trim the excess leads of taped electronic components (such as resistors, capacitors, and transistors) quickly and uniformly. They are a vital tool in electronics manufacturing, repair, and prototyping to prepare components for insertion into printed circuit boards.

• Cutting Component Leads: The main function is to cut the leads of tape-type radial components cleanly and smoothly to a consistent length.
• Processing Taped Components: The design allows for continuous operation, processing components directly from their tape packaging to ensure faster and more efficient preparation.
• Streamlining Assembly: By providing uniform lead lengths, the tools streamline the process of manual or automated component insertion into PCBs prior to soldering.
• Annealed Wire Cutting: They can also be used for cutting and forming annealed copper lead wire. 

Specifications:

The primary difference between the Hakko 155-1 and 155-2 is the feed hole pitch, which determines the type of component tape they are compatible with. The core specifications regarding dimensions, weight, and maximum lead diameter are otherwise identical.

• Hakko 155-1: Designed for a 12.7 mm (0.5 in) feed hole pitch.
• Hakko 155-2: Designed for a 15.0 mm feed hole pitch. 

Constant-torque drive ensures uniform processing quality.

• Processes up to 18,000 pieces per hour with the HAKKO 155.
• Speed control knob permits adjustment of the processing speed.
