SCS 770715 EM EYE, ESD EVENT METER

The DESCO 770715 (SCS EM Eye) is a handheld ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) event meter used to detect, count, and measure ESD events that occur within an electronic manufacturing or handling environment.

• Identification of ESD Sources: It helps pinpoint the locations or processes where ESD events (static zaps) are happening, which can be a source of damage to sensitive electronic components.
• Measurement and Analysis: The device measures the magnitude of the ESD events and uses built-in filters to provide approximate values for different models of static discharge:
  • Human Body Model (HBM)
  • Charged Device Model (CDM)
  • Machine Model (MM)
• Process Control and Troubleshooting: By collecting quantifiable data, users can analyze "before-and-after" scenarios to tailor and improve their ESD control programs and troubleshoot issues that cause tool lock-ups, erratic behavior, and parametric errors.
• Data Logging: All measurements are recorded onto a microSD card, allowing data to be downloaded to a PC for further analysis and archiving.
