Desco 19275 (Detector for Combo Tester X3)

The Desco 19275 ( Tester for Combo Tester X3 DESCO 19270, DESCO 19271) is a professional-grade device used to verify the functionality of personnel grounding devices, such as wrist straps and footwear. • Simultaneous Testing: It performs three independent tests at the same time—one for the wrist strap and one for each foot—taking less than 3 seconds to complete the entire process.
• Path-to-Ground Verification: It determines if an operator's grounding equipment is successfully providing a path to ground to prevent static buildup.
• Access Control: The unit features a built-in relay that can be connected to electronic door locks or turnstiles. This ensures that only personnel who pass their ESD tests can enter a protected area.
• Advanced Compatibility: It can test single-wire and dual-wire wrist straps, ESD shoes, and even groundable static control garments (smocks)

• Test Voltage (Wrist Strap/Footwear): 30 VDC at open circuit.
• Test Switch Voltage: 5 VDC at open circuit.
• Power Input: 100–240 VAC, 50/60 Hz.
• Power Output: 12 VDC, 0.5 A via an external AC/DC adapter.
• Relay Contact Rating: 1 A at 30 VDC maximum (for access control integration)

• Test Limits: Default ranges are 750 kilohms to 10 megohms for wrist straps and 750 kilohms to 35 megohms for footwear.
• Solid-State Switch: It uses a touch button with no moving parts to extend the device's lifespan and maintain test accuracy.
• NIST Calibrated: Each unit comes calibrated to National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) standards and includes a certificate.
• ESD Glove Support: It is compatible with the ESD Glove Test Fixture, allowing operators to test while wearing gloves or finger cots.
