The Asker C type is the de facto global standard for measuring the hardness of soft rubber, sponge, etc.

This is a rubber hardness tester adopted in JIS K 7312. It is suitable for measuring the hardness of soft rubber, various foams, rubber rolls, yarn package hardness, clay, china clay, and other soft materials. Hardness data can be output externally using the peak hold and timer hold functions. Furthermore, by combining it with the motor-driven constant pressure load device CLE-150 series, more precise and highly reproducible hardness measurements can be achieved.

■ Indenter

The shape of the indenter is a hemisphere with a height of 2.54 mm.

■ Minimum reading value

The minimum reading is 0.1 points.

■ Peak hold function

The peak hold function makes it easy to read the maximum value, and is particularly useful for accurately measuring the hardness of samples where stress relaxation occurs (the reading drops immediately after pressure is applied).

■ Timer hold function

The timer hold function allows you to hold the measured value for any time between 1 and 15 seconds. Peak hold value and timer hold value can be obtained simultaneously with one measurement.

■ Interface box

Communication with external devices such as PCs is possible by connecting via USB or RS-232C. *Selectable
