ANRITSU Meter Model U series probes offer minimal coefficient of friction between the sensor and measuring surface, making them ideal for measuring the temperatures of moving or rotating surfaces.Specific components may be combined to customize products for the needs of a customer's specific application.

• Rotating Components: They are ideal for measuring the temperature of rollers, drums, and shafts. For example, they are used to measure the temperature of laminating rollers in manufacturing to improve yield.
• Moving Surfaces: They can also measure the temperature of materials on a conveyor belt, such as steel plates during a rolling process.Low Friction Design: The probes feature a design with minimal friction between the sensor and the measured surface, which allows for smooth and consistent contact, ensuring accurate results and probe longevity. This design is a key advantage over non-contact thermometers, as it is not affected by surface emissivity.
