Who else is interested in a laboratory balance that provides the feel of a washdown bench scale? The GX-L/GF-L series, the successor to A&D’s long-selling GP series, continues to allow precise weighing of heavy or large amounts of materials in demanding conditions. In addition, now as part of the A&D Apollo family, these models also offer various advanced features that make your weighing easier and more efficient, not to mention more accurate.
Flexible display position Swing-arm display stand
Unlike the commonly utilized stationary pole display stand, the swing-arm display stand allows its angle to be adjusted by approx. 100 degrees. It can therefore be pulled down to create a bench configuration with a front display, or angled back for weighing items of unusual size.

Automatic tilt detection and warning [Patented]
When the tilt alarm detects a tilt that may cause an error, it will flash the LED on the horizon and also display "TILT".
If the balance is not level, the TILT message will flash.
Setting the minimum weight
The minimum weighing value can be set by direct input using keys, by using the calculation result by ECL, or by having the balance automatically calculate it after loading and unloading the external weight 10 times. In addition
, a warning can be displayed during measurement until the sample amount reaches the value set as the minimum weighing value.
* Only functions when the display unit is grams or kilograms.

Password function

Two hold functions : Mode A: For weighing animals, etc. / Mode B: Holds the display when stable
Whereas the conventional display hold function (display hold function A) suited to animal weighing averages the weight value and then fixes it, the newly added display hold function (display hold function B) on the GX-L/GF-L fixes the weight value when the stability mark is lit. It also holds the display for 5 seconds even after the item to be weighed is removed from the balance.
This is convenient because even if the size of the item to be weighed is too large to see the display, you can read the weight value after removing the item.
Comparator Function
Displays "Lo, Ok, Hi" to indicate "low, just right, high". Convenient for packing and ranking (3 levels/5 levels).
You can also output the comparator results and enlarge the display on the main unit.
Auto power on/off function
The function can be turned on or off internally (it can also be controlled by commands from a PLC, etc.).
Example: When the power of the embedded device is on ⇒ the power of the balance is turned on.
Equipped with 2ch output as standard, 2ch simultaneous connection possible with PC and printer, PLC, external display, etc.

Statistical calculations
Statistical processing of weighing values and display/output the results.
Hydrometer Mode
Calculates and displays/outputs the specific gravity of solids or liquids.
Tare value output function
Gross (total amount), net (net amount), and tare (tare weight) data can be output.
Analog output of weighing results
The optional analog voltage output (GXL-06) allows for 0 to 1 V or 0.2 to 1 V output. This can be effectively used to control external devices (not waterproof).
The analog output is updated according to the display refresh cycle. The display refresh cycle can be changed in the balance's internal settings (approx. 5 times/sec, approx. 10 times/sec, approx. 20 times/sec).
Bluetooth® communication interface GXL-27JA (IP65)
Data can be transmitted wirelessly to smartphones, PCs, and Bluetooth® communication external display devices such as the AD-8931-JA.

USB function
- Unidirectional and bidirectional switching possible via internal settings
- Unidirectional (Quick USB): No driver installation required, direct output to PC Alphabet output is also possible, so GLP output and statistical calculation output are also supported
- Two-way communication: Data can be acquired using the data processing software WinCT. To use two-way communication, the "Virtual COM mode" driver must be installed.
Clock Features
Date and time data can be output and stored during GLP output or data memory.
